Shot in the middle of a party at Uma Nota, Paolo Pineda's STILL / MOVING freezes fleeting seconds between beats: a glance, a pause, a breath. Each image lives in that tension — between movement and composure, noise and clarity, the lived and the constructed.

Each piece — Confidence Call, Gloss & Leather, Last Call for Control, and Before Afters — captures a different kind of stillness within motion: the quiet before returning to the crowd, the gleam that catches mid-spin, the poise in surrender, the breath between before and after.

In STILL / MOVING, the creative process becomes the subject. It’s a portrait of artistry in real time, where the frame is never fixed, and stillness is just another form of movement.

First debuting as an installation for Uma After Dark's GLOSS 3000, a monthly event that celebrates the local creative industry.
